How to Dinosaur

Page history last edited by fp5026@wayne.edu 9 years, 1 month ago

Introduction:

Dinosaurs have long been extinct, and we can only guess as to what they looked like and how they acted from the fossils that remain. Unfortunately, we will never have dinosaurs around again to research their behavior, or will we? Wouldn't it be great if you could create your own dinosaur? There are so many things we could learn from having these giant reptiles roam the earth once again! Here we have a step by step process for genetically recreating a real live T-Rex. Not only can we learn from these huge creatures, but some of them make for excellent pets!

Description of Materials:

Most of these things are pretty common, such as the T-Rex DNA and ancestor DNA, and can be found at any local supermarket. The money is as easy to get as asking your parents. The only piece of equipment that you might have trouble acquiring is the Z-wrench and two wooden dowels. For the Z-wrench, you'll have to go on a long quest and travel to the highest peak in the land, where the Z-wrench is formed in the heart of the belly of the volcano. The wooden dowels are only found in the Shaolin temples, guarded by armies of the fiercest warriors ever to walk the Earth. Good luck!

List of Materials:

1). DNA From T-Rex

2). DNA From Common Ancestor

3). $15 Million Bucks

4). 1,255 Cows

5). 2 Wooden Dowels

6). Z Wrench

Directions:

Step 1: Acquire DNA of your favorite dinosaur (T-Rex). This shouldn't be to hard to find, but if you have trouble ask your super close personal friend that also happens to be an archaeological scientist. He always has goodies just laying around.

Step 2: Integrate the DNA from the blood of your T-Rex into a common ancestor. Common ancestors include, chickens, reptiles, and frogs.

Step 3:  Incubate the DNA until solid mass forms in test tube. It should resemble a tiny ball of happiness and love.

Step 4: Birth your new baby T-Rex. DANGER: Do not teach it how to open doors. Proceed to love your T-Rex and ride it when it is old enough.

Step 5: Play fetch using your least favorite coworkers as toys. Remember, you can’t trust them as far as you can throw them, plus they make a good substitute for cows if you're running low.
