I am currently trying to register for your class ENG 3050 and I’m asking permission from you to do so.

Recently i stumbled on a small problem and noticed that my English is a bit weak when I applied for a job and got rejected, I’m currently enrolled in the chemical engineering program and was looking for a chance to study and work in a company within the field that I’m studying for. What I’m looking for in your class is a chance to enhance my writing skills in a professional way and your class fits the profile. My short term goal is to graduate with masters in chemical engineering and that will require a lot of reading and writing in a professional way. As an engineer it is required from us to write a lot of reports and it will not be acceptable to write anything unless it's in a professional neat way.

As writers we should be able to write papers with ease in a short period of time, but for me it takes a lot of my time and that is probably what made my writing worse, though, I’m confident that I can improve and that is what always keeps me going. My strength in writing is that I can present the main idea clearly, and my weakness is my vocabulary and grammar due to English being my second language. I'm confident to say that this class will help me improve my language to the next level.

What I can bring with me to class is myself motivation and my huge appetite for knowledge. I'm a hard working student who spends most of his time studying and helping others as much as I can. I don't have a lot of friends because I think time is precious since I’m a student and time should be managed well. I'm a straight foreword person and people tend to get mad about it. I don't delay work to the next day because you never know what will come up to make you miss it and i don't want any regrets in my life.
